Dating
back to the Domesday book, Great Snoring is a quiet rural retreat
in the heart of the North Norfolk countryside, a picteresque cluster
of brick and flint houses around a magnificent 13th century church.
There's plenty to explore locally, if you like walking follow the
bridle path to the Shrine and Slipper Chapel at Great Waslingham.
Hop in the car and head for the quaint sea side town and magnificent
sandy beaches of Wells or visit the weekly market a Fakenham or
farmers market (every 4th Saturday). The Georgian town of Holt with
its eclectic mix of shops and the smart shops of the "Burnhams"
are also worth a visit. Thursford museum and the Muckleborough collection
at Weybourne are great days out as are Holkham Hall and Sandringham
and the seal trips at Morston.
